California Budget Cuts Stir Students' Emotions

300,000 educators have been laid off since 2008 and the number continues to rise.

Americans are so busy trying to find employment, keep employment, and adjust to this changing economy that we live in; that most are not realizing how much it has effected the children.

We try our best not to show our children how hard things are, but, they do see what we go through as parents. Believe it or not our children take on the stress that we do even when it's not displayed. Sometimes you don't even realize how you have displayed these actions of stress. Guess what? That pre-schooler, elementary, middle, high school, and college student knows what is going on or have some idea. They too are suffering through this global economic crisis. Their schools are closing, they are being moved to new school districts, their teachers are not coming back to teach this new school year, certain classes have been cut that are no longer available, and the list goes on and on.

I wrote this article to bring awareness to the stress our little ones are going through. We must save this educational system. We cannot have a bunch of uneducated children walking around in the near future. We must act now or they will continue to rape our children's educational future.

How is it that cuts are made to things that are important i.e. education and health; but you don't cut from funds that are useless and costs the government more money to keep them running than to close it? The government priorities are only being met for them and not the people. We must change this!

The children of this nation and the world needs us. We must not fail them. We must not fail ourselves. We must not fail each other. Our children should not be on television crying about how they miss their schools and teachers; it is heartbreaking to see and hear. How can they focus on their lessons if the stress of society is visibly rearing its ugly head to them? We cannot always protect them but when it is time people it is time and now is that time to save our children. Talk to your children people. Listen to them and hear what they have to say about these changes that they are experiencing in school and at home. You would so surprised to know how much you can learn from them. They do pay attention...Each One Teach One...

The Jobless Find Refuge in Tent Cities

It is happening more frequent and popping up just about everywhere that it can, Tent Cities, for the jobless who have become homeless in this economy.

It is reported that 46 million Americans are living in poverty in the U.S. today and that many are living in these Tent Cities instead of on the streets. States like New Jersey and Ohio are suing the homeless for taking up residency in wooded areas.

Some of these tent cities have been around since 2006 and are also occupied with RV, cars, make shift tents, shacks, and galvanized housing materials.

State officials are reporting that it's a violation of trespassing and that the homeless can and will be sued as a repercussion of these laws. Where would they go? Many residents are asking this question as they are also in search of employment. Is this the new wave of the future for jobless Americans who have become homeless Americans?

‘Violent Protests’ Over China's Pollution

BEIJING-On Thursday about 500 protesters gathered in the streets of Haining city, Zhejiang province adamant for explanations on the death of a large numbers of fish in a river nearby, according to Xinhua news agency.

Apparently these protests have been going on for three days now. The residents are accusing a solar panel factory in eastern China of cancer-causing pollution, reported by state media today.

There are at least 31 cases of cancer, including 6 with leukemia amongst residents of Hongxiao village, a part of Haining which industrial contamination is believe to have caused.

It is stated that demonstrators broke into the Jinko Solar factory ransacking offices and turning over vehicles before being forced back by police. The violence still continues..

My Mind Strays: A Remembrance For Those Who Have Passed


It is and has been our time to reflect on the lives lost 10 years ago this 9/11 weekend. A lot of souls in this tragedy are still not at rest and have not found their peace. We must rememeber that every living/breathing creature (being), plant, and the Earth has a soul an ether. When a soul is taken violently it is unaware of what has really happened and wonders for weeks, months, years and even centuries. I ask that we pray for these lost souls along with their families and friends that they find LIGHT. A life is a life who is alive bcuz the soul stills lives on when the physical has been removed and is in the next realm. Yet, some of these souls are trapped between realms (worlds).They need to see light in order to crossover and continue their journey. Sometimes we are used as tools (rescuers of these souls) and need to apply this when HE allows us to but we MUST STOP, LOOK, AND LISTEN in order to carry this out. These souls are between dimensions and we must have an overstanding of this..

Dimensions do exist and have always. As humans we are born into this realm to achieve, conquer, and to serve our purposes in this lifetime. We are also here to learn the SELF and what it can be achieved spiritually by the SELF. We are at a conscious level and need to recognize this by applying this (just some examples but not all and not limited) through meditation (prayer), yoga, and healthy living/healthy eating). These are just some of many that can help aide in the transition, but only the individual can do this by learning who they really are. Our inner voice leads us (if & when we do listen).

I am not asking you to agree with all that has been said. What I am asking is NOT to forget those 3000 souls who have physically passed 10 years ago and those who have in our lifetime. Who you are in this realm you will be in the next. So make the decision to be a better being from the inside out. Learn the power that has been given to you by manifesting the SELF into a higher level of consciousness... My prayers goes out to the victims of 9/11, to their families, and to you (if you have lost a loved one) that their souls find peace and can continue the true journey the real meaning of life..
