Whenever we concentrate our thoughts we draw psychic energy together. This is called a thoughtform. Usually, the energy dissipates as soon as we break the concentration, but, it is possible to purposely concentrate energy in this way, producing very strong thoughtforms. Such thoughtforms are vortexes or centers of psychic energy. They can exist as entities by themselves.
A thoughtform is basically an extension of your "will" and consciousness. Like all energy, the thoughtform can be programmed to carry out specific tasks and/or directed to travel to a target area. The success of the thoughtform is dependent upon the strength of the mind and soul of its creator. A weak thoughtform will quickly dissipate, accomplishing nothing. Powerful thoughtforms, when neglected, can wreak havoc. Energy feeds on energy and a thoughtform that is several weeks old will have absorbed all kinds of different influences, emotions and energies from its surroundings.This might appear amusing to some, but, the mutated thoughtform has often been known to reappear in the locale of its creator. Only to wreak havoc, due to the outside energies it has accumulated.
These Beings are capable of many tasks, below are a few examples:
- Influencing the minds and thoughts of others.
- Breaking up relationships or strengthening them.
- Forming friendships or love/lust relationships.
- Bending weaker individuals to the will of the mage and controlling them through the elemental.
- Bringing in customers for those in business.
